The Fairfield Lady Eagles had two district games on their plate this past week, splitting contests against Rusk and Palestine.
After a close home defeat to Rusk, 45-42, the Lady Eagles rebounded on the road Friday evening, beating Palestine 66-42.
The squad is now 26-4 (5-1 district), and still command a two-game lead over Rusk in the district standings.
