Students at Fairfield Elementary and Fairfield Intermediate were excited to hear from firefighters with the Fairfield VFD this past Thursday for fire prevention week. The importance of several smoke detectors throughout the house were discussed. It is important to check the detectors monthly and to change out the batteries when needed.
