Fairfield Junior High School delivers 13th straight UIL title

Medals and ribbons for individuals and teams were passed out last week to Fairfield Junior High students who placed at the Academic UIL Competition, bringing home the championship for the 13th year in a row for the junior high. Students competed in 18 events against 6th, 7th and 8th graders from Madisonville, Mexia, Palestine and Rusk. Points scored in the event for Fairfield totaled 1087.5,…
