Lady Bulldogs outlast Mart in five to stay unbeaten in district

The Wortham volleyball team outlasted Mart in five sets in a battle of District 14-2A undefeated teams to close out the first half of district play with a 4-0 record. Wortham improved to 23-12 overall. In the fifth and deciding game, the teams went back and forth and battled point-for-point until the Lady Bulldogs took the lead late in the set and surged to a 15-12 win to clinch the match. …
