The Wortham volleyball team strengthened its lead in District 14-2A and secured a playoff berth with a five-set victory at Hubbard on Friday.
The win over second-place Hubbard to start the second half of district play improved Wortham’s record to 5-0 in district and 23-16 overall. The playoff berth marks the 25th consecutive year the Lady Bulldogs have qualified for the postseason.
