WORTHAM - Things got off to an interesting start last Friday when the Wortham football team hosted Hubbard in the District 10-2A-Division II opener for both teams.
The winless Jaguars attempted an onside kick and recovered it at the Bulldogs’ 49-yard line. But four plays later, Hubbard was stopped on fourth down at the Wortham 43.
Two plays later, Yancey Bean scored on a 57-yard touchdown run…
