The Wortham football team’s season came to an end with a hard-fought 40-36 loss to Price Carlisle in the area round of the Class 2A playoffs at Wildcat Stadium in Palestine on Friday, Nov. 18. The Bulldogs finish their season with a 9-3 record after making their second consecutive trip to the playoffs.
