DAWSON - There are times when football takes a backseat to life off the field. Last Friday was one of those instances. In the closing moments of the Wortham football team’s 42-24 loss at Dawson, senior defensive back Dalen Coker was injured and had to be taken off the field via stretcher. Coker was taken to a nearby hospital via ambulance and was released later Friday night. It was reported…
