In my lifetime the only year to compare to this one is 1968. Viet Nam, riots in the streets, assassination of Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King, the three way presidential race between Hubert Humphrey, Richard Nixon and George Wallace and the Chicago riots at the Democratic Convention.
