A Freestone County man is dead after a deadly encounter with law enforcement.
The suspect, whose name has not been released, died from injuries he sustained from gunshot wounds while members of the Freestone County Sheriff’s Office and Wortham Police Department attempted to serve an arrest warrant to him. No officers involved in the incident were injured.
