Quilter challenges herself all the way to a blue ribbon

Long-time Freestone County quilter Cynthia Allen had a blue-ribbon entry this year at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Quilt Contest – after spending six months piecing and 40 hours quilting her masterpiece.
