The sale of Rob’s Drive In last week marked the first time since 1957 that the Robertson family of Fairfield hasn’t had a store to open early in the morning. Owner Danny Robertson woke up late last Wednesday — at 5:30 a.m. — and didn’t get up until 6:30. For decades, he’s gotten up at 4 a.m. because he had to open at 5.
