Longtime pastor resigns from First Baptist Church

The Rev. Leon Thomas, the current executive pastor and former worship pastor of Fairfield’s First Baptist Church, completed his last day on the job Sunday, April 24. He ended the day by attending a reception on his behalf hosted by the church. Members wanted to say “thank you” and to express their gratitude for all he had done for the congregation.
