Jazz musician and Seton Hall University professor Robert Pallitto visited Freestone County this past weekend, conducting research on jazz legend Kenny Dorham for a forthcoming book.
Pallitto traveled all the way from New Jersey to perform some boots-on-the-ground research about Dorham, who was born in Freestone County and lived here during his youth.
