Fairfield’s finest dogs and cats dressed in their scariest costumes to compete at Saturday’s “Howls and Meows” Halloween costume contest for pets, sponsored by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. Eleven entries, consisting of 10 dogs and one cat, competed for a gift of pet supplies sponsored by Chris Christensen Systems.
