Freestone County TRTA enjoys Day at the Capitol

More than 40 members of TRTA District 12 road on a chartered bus to Austin on Wednesday, April 12. They joined more than 1,000 other retired teachers as they participated in “Day at the Capitol.” The purpose of this trip was for the retired teachers of Texas to impress the legislators with the need for a Cost-of-Living Adjustment during this legislative session.
