A former Fairfield coach will not return to Eagle Country after all.
Former boys basketball coach Cannon Earp, who was approved to return to the same position he held during the 2019-20 school year at the Fairfield ISD school board meeting earlier this month, declined the job offer. According to FISD Superintendent Dr. Jason Adams, Earp accepted a similar position at Class 4A Sulphur Springs.
