Monday was the beginning of a new era for the City of Fairfield. City employees relocated into the new city hall building at 527 E. Commerce Street. The building was the location of the now shuttered Wells Fargo Bank. City offices were closed Wednesday and Friday last week as employees relocated from other offices across town. City Hall also will be the new location for city council meetings. …
