August brings more heat, dry weather

August 2020 clocked out as Freestone County’s hottest and driest month for the year, with only 0.99 inch of rain. The county had only two days with measurable rainfall, with a one-day greatest total of 0.58 inch on Aug. 26. Normal rainfall for August is 2.43 inches.
