FHS cheer squad compete in state finals

For the first time ever, the Fairfield High School cheerleaders competed at the UIL Spirit State competition and advanced to the finals. The competition was held at the Fort Worth Convention Center Jan. 13 to 15. Fairfield was one of the 38 teams that competed in the 3A Division 1 preliminary round Jan. 13.
