Wortham emerges with 42-30 win in battle of Bulldogs

It wasn’t pretty, but in the end the Wortham football team got out of Dawson with a 42- 30 victory in a rivalry game among Bulldogs at Dawson on Friday night. The victory lifted Wortham to 2-1 for the season. Dawson dropped to 0-3. The teams combined for 40 penalties for more than 400 yards. “It was kind of a sloppy game,” Wortham coach Chad Coker said.
