A young Fairfield Eagles squad received a rude awakening to the 2020 campaign Friday night, dropping a 42- 14 contest to Rusk at Eagle Stadium. Rusk scored 36 unanswered in the second and third quarters to take command of the contest, which featured windy conditions throughout.
