Lady Eagles win Fairfield Meet

The Fairfield Lady Eagles won the Fairfield Meet with 176 points out of 10 schools. Eustace came in second with 166.5 points and Westwood third with 125.5 points.

In the 100m dash, Nakayla Conner took second place with a 12.992. Kennedy Lane third place with a 13.788, and Lillian McBean fifth place with a 13.910.

Kennedy Lane ran a 27.965 for second place in the 200m dash as Jimilyah Nash took third place with a 28.269 and Jacelynn Schmidt fourth with a 28.317.

In the 400m dash, Rhett Ralstin placed fourth with a 1:08.283.

Addison Shipley won the gold in the 800m dash with a 2:38.236. Bailey Lovelady placed fourth with a 2:46.727 and Rhett Ralstin fifth with a 2:49.962.
In the 1600m run, Madison Russell grabbed sixth place with a time of 6:34.170. Russell grabbed fourth place in the 3200m run with a 13:44.265. Landry Acreman ran the 3200m in 14:02.331 for sixth place.

Kaylee Williams garnered sixth place in the 100m hurdles with a 18.816.

The 4x100m relay team consisting of Blayke Brackens, NaKayla Conner, Lillian McBean, and Madox Mitchael won the gold with a 49.336.

Blayke Brackens, NaKayla Conner, Madox Mitchael, and Jimilyah Nash ran the 4x200m relay in 1:48.432 for a first place finish.

The 4x400m relay team came in second place behind Eustace with a 4:22.057. The team consisted of Blayke Brackens, Madox Mitchael, Jacelynn Schmidt, and Addison Shipley.

Jacelynn Schmidt won the long jump competition with a 16’6” jump as NaKayla Conner grabbed second place with a 16’ 3¾” jump.

In the shot put competition, Braela Habbit threw 30’7” for fifth place and Jaci Abram threw 30’3” for sixth place.

Braela Habbit won the discus contest with a throw of 88’9” as Jaci Abram came in fifth place with a throw of 79’9”.

In the triple jump contest, Kaylee Williams grabbed first place with a jump of 33’2½” and Blayke Brackens received second place with a jump of 32’8”.  

Jacelynn Schmidt garnered second place in the high jump competition with a 4’10” jump.

 

Eagles

 

The Fairfield Eagles took sixth place overall with 31 points behind Westwood, Groesbeck, Eustace, Elkhart, and Teague.

Finn Smith took sixth place in the 200m dash with a 24.738.

In the 3200m run, Jerry Draper grabbed fifth place with a 11:12.406.

Jason Brackens ran a 17.830 in the 110m hurdles for a third place finish. He garnered fourth place in the 300m hurdles with a 49.516.

In the 4x200m relay, Kalil Appel, Talan Hatchcock, Kavion Hicks, and Emmanuel Valles took fifth place with a 1:38.454.

John Macke took second place in shot put with a throw of 39’ 6”. In discus, he threw the discus 102’ 11” for a third place finish. 

Fairfield will compete in the Eustace Relays on Thursday, March 21, and the Westwood Relays on Thursday, March 28.
