The Fairfield Eagles fell to Mexia and defeated Elkhart this past week to move to 12-17 on the season and 5-6 in district play. On Tuesday night, Jan. 30, Fairfield hosted Mexia and fell to the Blackcats, 68-50. After the first quarter of play, Mexia led 15-10.
