Eagles fall to Franklin, still in third place in district

Fairfield’s scheduled basketball game against Franklin on Friday was postponed until Saturday afternoon due to the road conditions with the ice and snow. The Franklin Lions played inhospitable hosts, defeating the Eagles 73-52. Fairfield (14-12, 7-4) are sitting in third place in district play. Franklin is in first place with an 11-0 record, and Crockett is in second place with a 10-1 record. …
