The Wortham baseball team defeated Mt. Calm, 11-0, in a game that was stopped in the top of the third inning Friday, March 8. It was the opening District 14-2A contest for both teams.The win was Wortham’s second in 10 outings this year.Wortham scored six runs in the first inning, added four in the second and one in the third before the game was stopped due to lightning and rain.Wortham senior…
