Sara Warren was a staple in Freestone and Navarro counties.
The DPS Trooper was affectionately known as “Seatbelt Sara.” Warren often volunteered to do safety belt and safety seat checks to make sure the citizens she served were buckled up for safety.
Warren, 51, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 2, after a five-year battle with cancer. She resided in Dawson at the time of her death.
