Swift action by members of three first responder groups and a trio of good samaritans allowed a citizen to walk away from a burning vehicle last week.
Members of the Freestone County Sheriff ’s Office, Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department and Fairfield EMS, as well as three citizens, rescued a driver from a burning vehicle along State Highway 75 just south of Fairfield.
