Joint Dispatch operation cost divvied up

The mayors of Fairfield and Teague and the city of Wortham have now learned the percentage they are being asked to provide for the operation of Freestone County’s Joint Dispatch. Those proportions were tendered at Freestone County Commissioners Court’s Aug. 9 meeting, when the commissioners also reviewed the proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year and agreed upon a new drug test provider. …
