Members of the Freestone County Commissioners Court went over the proposed budget again at their Aug. 2 meeting, making changes they deemed necessary. Also at that meeting, the court left the burn ban in place, heard a report from supplemental insurance Afflack, learned the next step in the Joint Dispatch Building and made other decisions concerning the county’s finances and quality of life. …
