During a regularly called meeting of Fairfield City Council Nov. 12, the council approved a proposal by Sherry Brackens and Beverly Bass, requesting the usage of the Fairfield Fairground booths, pavilions and Green Barn for an April 4, 2020 Cajun Food Festival. The event will feature merchants, cookoffs in several cajun food categories, as well as other happenings.
