Margaret White, 69, of Fairfield, passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2020 in Fairfield. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Juan Sardinas as celebrant. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Billy Ray DeFrance, Michael DeFrance, Matthew DeFrance, Jacob De-France, Clay Barnett, Jared DeFrance and Ryan Bond.

Margaret was born December 17, 1950 in Palestine, Texas to parents Franklin and Sarah Stoffels DeFrance. She married Dale White on June 8, 1970. Margaret was a social butterfly. She loved people and enjoyed working over 45 years in the restaurant industry. She was happiest when spending time with her family and friends. She loved working in her yard and spending time at the beach. During her six-year battle with cancer she was and inspiration to all. Always upbeat and positive. She was always looking for ways to help others no matter how difficult her journey was. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley DeFrance and a brother, John DeFrance.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Billy DeFrance and wife Norma of Fairfield; Thomas DeFrance and wife Andrea of Red Oak, TX; Dr. Ron DeFrance and wife Debbie of Fairfield; Patricia Barnett and husband Roger of Red Oak, TX; Kenneth De-France and wife Karen of Dallas, TX; Mark DeFrance and wife Glisa of Streetman, TX; Norma Bond and husband Joe of Fairfield; sister-in-law, Helen DeFrance of Fairfield. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
