Harold Thomason Moore II (Tommy), 64, passed away on August 26, 2020 at Medical City Plano after a brief illness. Please monitor www.cappschapel.com for graveside service time and place in the near future.

Tommy was born October 21, 1955, in Dallas, Texas to parents Marie Elizabeth Claes Moore of Galveston, Texas and Harold Reginald Moore of Guy’s Store, Texas. He was a 1974 graduate of Fairfield High School. He attended Navarro College and graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1978. Tommy worked at TXU, Hughes Tool, NRG and the Texas Department of Human Resources before retirement.

He was an avid automobile enthusiast. He was very knowledgeable about many things but especially cars, motorcycles, airplanes, history and classic movies.

He owned several sports cars and motorcycles throughout his life. Tommy also owned and restored several classic cars. At one time, he bought a World War II airplane and had several hours of flight instruction.

Tommy was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Marie E. Moore. He is survived by one son, Harold Thomason Moore III (Trey) of Mexia; his father, Dr. Harold R. Moore; sister, Karen Spikes and husband Lynn; brother, Dr. Brent Moore and wife Chrissy; nephew, John Morgan and wife Tanya of Buffalo; nephew, Michael Morgan and wife Rachel of Austin; niece, Carissa Moore of Huntsville; niece, Amy Spikes; nephews, Holt and Tucker Moore of Fairfield and great niece Ramona Morgan of Buffalo.

He is also survived by former spouse and friend Dawn Traylor and beloved cousins Randall Eller, Charlene Hargrove, Gaylene Moomey all of Centerville; Sue Fuller of Cedar Park and many good friends.
