The Freestone County Game Management Association hosted their annual varmint hunt March 6-8. They had a grand total of 12 teams. Many varmints were brought in for weigh in. The first-place team pictured with FCGMA board member John Hill: Tristen McGowan, Russell Hughes and Colten Keener. They also won the big hog contest, with the pig weighing 270 lbs.
