TA Express open; Whataburger will be soon

  • Six years have passed since the owners first considered building a TA Express truck stop in Fairfield on I-45 North. After extensive studies were made and plans drawn, it is now a reality and TravelCenters of America is open, and its accompanying partner, Whataburger, tentatively will open May 10. Fairfield’s newest business and one of its largest is now open on Interstate 45 North. TA Express, which has a number of services and conveniences to provide local residents as well as those who simply are traveling through, opened its doors Tuesday, May 3.
