Fairfield City Council is set to vote on the city’s tax rate and budget for the 2020-21 fiscal year during a special called meeting Friday at the Fairfield Civic Center (Green Barn). Council will be holding one last budget workshop during a Tuesday regular meeting.
This approval vote has been moved up from the previously-announced date of Sept. 22.
