Large steps were taken to clear up the financial picture of Fairfield this past Tuesday at a meeting of City Council.
During the meeting, council passed 4-1 to adopt the city budget for fiscal year 2019-20, as well as passing 4-1 a rise in utility rates for 2019-20.
