Mission to state successful for Lady Eagles

The mission for the Fairfield Lady Eagles’ basketball squad was simple. After a 2018-19 campaign that ended in a perfect district record, the team fell to Hardin-Jefferson on the final stop to States, losing 64-40 in the Regional Finals. Using the success of the season as a base, the Lady Eagles sought one more State push under a veteran group. Returning nine roster members from the 28-9 effort,…
