William Murphy of Corsicana and formerly of Freestone County passed from this life on October 19, 2019 at Country Meadows Rehabilitation Center at the age of 73. He was born on August 14, 1946 in Corsicana. He worked for a number of years at Nucor Steel in fracking.
William is preceded in death by his wife Linda Murphy in 2002. He is survived by a step-son Jimmy Murphy. Siblings; Patsy Armstrong and James Murphy. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Cremation is under the direction of Griffin - Roughton Funeral Home.
