Rebecca “Becky” Sauntry Miller, age 67, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on June 11, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Becky was born October 16, 1952 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Boyce and Eleanor (Cranfill) Edwards. She was raised in Lake Jackson, TX and graduated from Brazoswood High School.

Becky married Mike Sauntry in 1976 and moved to Missouri City, TX, where she devoted herself to raising her two boys.

She was a great mother figure “second mom” to many of the boys’ friends and teammates over the years. She was a very involved, supportive and loving mother.

In 2009, she married Johnny Miller and moved to Streetman, TX. Becky and Johnny loved riding their Harleys together and enjoyed spending time going on motorcycle rides with friends. They attended Caney Baptist Church in Streetman and shared a love for Jesus.

Becky remained brave, determined and stayed strong throughout her final months. She had a fun and witty personality, loved making people laugh and brought the party with her wherever she went. She cherished her family and loved life. She will fondly be remembered and missed.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents, Boyce and Eleanor Edwards and is survived by her husband Johnny, sons Chad Sauntry and wife Lisa, Trevor Sauntry and wife Dana, grandchildren Palmer, Tripp and John, brother Rodney and wife Vicki Edwards, sisters Jan and husband Robert Ramsey and Sandra and husband Donny Denson and many nieces and nephews.

The family asks, in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Freestone County Cancer Support Group honoring Becky.
