Jeremy Ray Combs Jr. “Bubba”, 15, son of Jeremy and Lacie Combs of Fairfield, received his final miracle in meeting his savior Nov. 5, 2020 at 2:05 p.m., while surrounded by his mom, dad, two sisters, brother, granny and Pastor Matt, at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, after a 20 day battle with MRSA.

Bubba was born July 25, 2005 in Greenville. He loved football, swimming, mud bogging, hunting, fishing, cowboying, singing, playing drums and guitar, building things, aggravating, and entertaining at any given chance.

He was definitely a young man of many characters.

He played the drums every Sunday in his family’s worship team at Tri-City Church in Athens. His page, #BubbaStrong on Facebook reached over 3500 souls worldwide, bringing many to pray, build faith, and for some beginning a relationship with our Heavenly Father.

His page continues to touch and change lives. Bubba is survived by his parents, Jeremy Sr. and Lacie Combs; siblings, Rylie Combs 19, Lexis Combs 17 and Justin Combs 12, of Fairfield; girlfriend, Emily Martin; great granny Ruby Snowden, Granny Barbara Lawson; God Grandparents, Ray and Rosie York, Kathie and Tunney Defore and Parrish Ardry; God parents, Tammy and David Luloff. Aunts and Uncles, Angela Combs, BJ Combs, Ruby Combs, Dale Combs, Maggie and Justin Dunford, Brandi Lewis, Connie and Joey York, Crystal Lewis, Wesley and Savannah Steele, and Richard Wiese; cousins, Dalton, Dylan, Maddie, Logan, Gavin, Jackson, Jaydon, Breanna, Leola, Dale Jr, Clayton, Brentley, Maegan, William, Kaleb, Destiny, Gentry, Hendley, Trey, Stephen, Jayden, and numerous other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his Papa, Barney Combs; Granny, Marsha Diane Rogers; Papa, Stephen Lewis; Nana, Jackie Montgomery; Papa, Michael Lawson; great grandparents, Vera and Clarence (Smitty) Smith, Jack and Martha Hollaway, Billy and Lillian Dechaume, Martha and Jimmy Rogers, Elbert Snowden and cousin Justin Wiese amongst several other family members.

A memorial service for Bubba is pending at this time but will be posted on his Facebook page #BubbaStrong and also on Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home of Fairfield. The Family would like to thank Bubba’s followers worldwide, his entire team at Children’s and our Fairfield Texas Community; family and friends. May we let his story continue to teach Faith Over Fear, Love, Mercy and Grace through Christ Jesus.

Until we meet again ol’son
