In the 18th chapter of the Book of Jeremiah, we find these words: “The Lord spoke to Jeremiah and He said, Go to the potter ’s house. There I will give you my message.” So Jeremiah went to the potter’s house, and there the potter was working at his wheel, molding a piece of clay into the kind of clay pot he wanted to make.

Lemonade Day Proclamation

Fairfield Mayor Kenneth Hughes signs a proclamation on Saturday, March 30, at the Easter Eggstravaganza declaring Saturday, May 4, as Lemonade Day in Fairfield. Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their own business – a lemonade stand. The foremost objective of Lemonade Day is to empower youth to take ownership of their lives and become productive members of society – the business leaders, social advocates, volunteers, and forward thinking citizens of tomorrowe.
