State Executives Blast Bureaucratic Mis-Rule:
In state-wide radio broadcasts, Gov. Stevenson and Lieut.-Gov. Smith bitterly criticsied the arbitrary rationing and other usurpation of power by uniformed bureaucrats.
Gov. Stevenson said in part:
“Texans understand that in time of war we must have unity of command; but that does not mean that Congress and the states…
